The Basics
All services, occur rain or shine!!!
Pack Hikes
We like to describe pack hikes as a field drip for your dog! We’ll pick up your furry friend, take them on an exciting hike, and then drop them off safely at home. Pack hikes vary in duration depending on dog locations and how much fun we’re having on the trail! They typically take about 3ish hours. You don’t need to be home for pickup or drop-off. It’s completely flexible to suit your convenience!
Pack hikes are an excellent option for dog owners seeking to socialize their pets and burn off excess energy. The hiking distance typically falls between 2 to 4 miles, depending on various factors such as the weather conditions and the dogs’ energy levels. Once your pup starts participating in pack hikes, they must ensure at least one hike per week to maintain positive dynamics within the pack.
Private Walks
If you’d like to get your pup out on a walk but not in a pack hike, this is the option for you! Private walks are just what it sounds like, a private walk with only your pup so they can sniff and paw their way around the neighborhood while you’re out and about. We offer half-hour or hour-long walks.
Private walks are a great option if you have a senior dog who wants to plod about at their own pace or if your pup isn’t great with other dogs yet!

What clients are saying:
“Ashley has been taking my Goldendoodle, Lottie, on pack hikes for the last year and it’s been a lifesaving service! Not only is she reliable, punctual, and knowledgeable, she is my dog’s absolute FAVORITE person (even before me — yes, that was a sad day when I figured it out!). Lottie runs out the door when Ashley comes to pick her up and comes home exhausted, happy, and ready to nap. I trust Happy Trails and Ashley, and you should too!”
— Caroline Moss, mom of Lottie
“Ashley is truly the dog whisperer. Our anxious little rescue absolutely loves her pack walks with Ashley each week. She comes back happy and exhausted. We would send her every day if we could! Love the pick up and drop off - seeing the dogs roll up in the car is hilarious. Thank you, Ashley!”
— Elizabeth Vitanza, mom of Penny
